National Registry Preparation Course This course is for everyone who is planning on taking the National Registry Exams for Paramedic certification but who is not required by the National Registry to obtain continuing education hours or remediation in order to qualify to re-test * Topics included: Monday:  Overview of Human Systems, Pharmacology, Airway and Pulmonary, Cardiology Tuesday: Trauma and Mechanisms of Injury, Shock, OB / GYN Wednesday: Morning:  Pediatrics, General Medical, Operations  Afternoon:  Practical Exam Skills Thursday: Practical Exam Skills Friday: Practical Exam Skills This is simply a fast-paced review of your paramedic course with emphasis on the concepts and subjects that we feel are most likely to trip you up during your testing.  Half of this class covers preparation for the written exam and half for the practical.  Please specify at the time of registration whether you are interested in one or the other, or both.  Seating is limited, call for more information (800) 339-7914. * If you have taken the National Registry practical exam and have failed your two retests and are required to go through remedial training to qualify to take the exam again, this course will fulfill that requirement - you need only to sign up for the practical half.  If however you have taken and failed the National Registry WRITTEN exam three times and are required by the National Registry to take a 48 hour refresher in order to qualify to take the exam again, you MUST take a paramedic refresher course to be eligible to test again.  We do recommend that you take this course in addition to a paramedic refresher in order to maximize your chance at success on your next attempt.  The cost of the prep course and the refresher together is $450.00.
